1/2 chipotle pepper
1/2 tsp adobo sauce

1 tsp Tajin, if usingIf omitting, replace with salt

Add/PulseTo food processor, turn machine on/off UNTIL tomatoes are coarsely choppedPulse
Add/Pulse2 to 3 times to blend
Transfer/CoverSalsaTo serving and dish and cover with plastic wrap

IncreaseMedium High Heat
Test/Add1 wedge to UNTIL wedge is sizzling
Add/Fry10 at a time UNTIL chips are light golden brownChips will get darker after they have been removed
Remove/TransferChipsUsing Wire Skimmer and put in large bowl with paper towels
SprinkleOn the chips to taste
Add/Fry/RepeatNext batch of wedges UNTIL all chips are fried and salted
