Mise It is launching in its first public version, and we’re actively improving it based on real user feedback. Below are a few things we’re already aware of, along with simple workarounds where available.

When you create a meal with recipes that have different serving sizes, you should be presented with a warning.
Workaround
For this version, try and choose recipes that already have the serving size that you need. If you want to adjust the servings size of a recipe, go the the website and adjust
the servings size and re-import using the Paste Recipe option. Then create your new meal using the serving adjusted recipe.

🟢 Minor Issue
Mise group will be created but doesn’t warn the chef that some ingredients must only be added at a certain temperature and should only be done when it’s time Make it.
Workaround
If making recipes that require yeast and liquids heated to a certain temperature before being added to the dry mixture, make sure to only do the liquid phase during Make it. A cue will be added to Mise it to point this out to the chef.

🟢 Minor Issue
When combining several recipes, Mise It intelligently reorganizes ingredients, prep, and cooking order. Occasionally, a meal may require a small adjustment.
Workaround
Review your combined meal before beginning preparation. You can move the steps around to what you are comfortable with.

🟡 Moderate Issue
On occasion, Mise it may recommend a cutting board rather than a large bowl for the Mise prep group.
Workaround
Review your Mise group and update the tool to what you feel best using.

🟢 Minor Issue
On occasion, Make it may miss a step when 2 mise groups are being brought together and assumes you have already completed the necessary steps.
Workaround
Review your Make it and copy paste the step from the recipe into Make it by adding a new step. Move the step to its appropiate place.
