Paste recipes from almost anywhere. Simply copy the recipe text and paste it into Mise It. Our AI recognizes ingredients, instructions, servings, cooking times, and more — even if the formatting is not perfect.
The fastest way to copy and paste on a computer is with keyboard shortcuts.
Ctrl + A = Select All
Ctrl + C = Copy
Ctrl + V = Paste
Command + A = Select All
Command + C = Copy
Command + V = Paste
When recipes are pasted manually, images are not imported. After saving your recipe, you can easily upload your own photo.
You can upload a photo of the finished dish, a cookbook page, a handwritten family recipe card, or any image you would like to use as your recipe cover photo.
My formatting looks strange.
Do not worry. Mise It automatically cleans and restructures most recipes during import.
Ingredients were not recognized.
Make sure you copied both the ingredient list and the cooking instructions. If the recipe spans multiple pages, copy all sections before pasting.
Nothing pasted.
Some websites restrict copying. If this happens, try Import from a Recipe URL instead. If the recipe is an image or scanned document, use Live Text on iPhone or iPad, or Google Lens on Android, to extract the text first.
Recipes do not need to be perfectly formatted. If you can copy the text, there is a good chance Mise It can organize it into a clean recipe. Once saved, you can use it in Make-A-Meal™ to combine multiple recipes into one grocery list, one prep workflow, and one coordinated cooking experience.
